Needs Vs. Wants

Earlier today, Snake and I had a nice conversation about our needs & wants when it comes to our relationship & our dynamic.

I find that I NEED structure, discipline, love, respect & alone time. Sex is a want. I can have sex with myself during alone time, and I'm fine.

I'm having an issue with taking Snake seriously as a Dom again though. =[ It's something that shames me to admit. I need to trust him and submit to him for him to get better, but some days, like yesterday, I just don't feel like it. I become bratty and fight back when he goes to tickle me (which we've agreed to as our punishment).

Hmmm.. But how can we solve this? How can we make it so that I'm serving him while letting my true independent self be happy?

Assignments? I do love completing tasks on my own. Hmm.. I think I'm going to explore the assignments route a little more.
